This low, mounding germander, Teucrium majoricum (T. capitatum subsp. majoricum) makes a dense mound of silvery-gray foliage topped with pink flowers over an extended period from spring through summer and sporadically into fall. It is a Mediterranean-type plant and loves sharp drainage and full sun, combining well with rosemary and salvias. Wet soils will spell a quick death but plants appear to be quite hardy. Eight inch to 12" tall mounds of dense, aromatic foliage spread to 30" or more.
